Cookie Cutter Christmas Peppermint Treat

This little Cookie Cutter Christmas Peppermint Treat is the perfect last minute gift . . . it’s cute and quick to make!  This was one of the projects we made at my VIP Open House this month.  The coordinating Cookie Cutter Christmas stamps and punch make it so easy!  Pick yourself up a pack of your favorite peppermint patties and you’re good to go!

 

My inspiration for this little cutie came from one I received as a gift last July from fellow demonstrator, Cindy Baughman, while on the Stampin’ Up! Alaskan cruise.  It was the perfect gift then, too!

 

 

 

 

Dimensions & Directions for Cookie Cutter Christmas Treat:

• Whisper White cardstock . . . scraps to stamp eskimo image and punch two 2-1/4″ circles and die cut one 2-1/2″ circle
•  Sparkle Glimmer Paper . . . scrap to die cut 2-1/2″ circle
  • Front:
    • Stamp Eskimo with Memento Black Ink
    • Add color with Stampin’ Blends Markers
    • Punch out with Cookie Cutter Builder Punch
    • Attach Eskimo to one 2-1/4″ circle with Dimensionals
    • Adhere to 2-1/2″ Sparkle Glimmer Paper circle with Mini Glue Dots
  • Back:
    • Stamp sentiment on one 2-1/4″ circle
    • Add color with Stampin’ Blends
    • Adhere stamped circle to die cut Whisper White 2-1/2″ circle
• Adhere front and back to peppermint pattie with Mini Glue Dots
• Insert completed Eskimo treat into 3 x 6 Gusseted Bag
• Tie up with a 6″ piece of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon to tie
