This is a quick post from the coffee shop in Ely, MN, today! It's fun to be able to share while at the lake with my brothers and mom! The projects I'm sharing are always unexpected, but so appreciated! They are some of the special gifts that I received from some of my stamping friends while at convention this year! I thought you might like to see them for the diy gift ideas!
This was my first gift . . . from team member, Christine Pierce. She decorated a Stampin' Up! wood mount stamp case. The outer sleeve lifts up so you can slip a layer of designer paper underneath very easily. Check out the variety of goodies you can fit inside! These work great for packaging sets of cards to be given as gifts, too!
I love that you can see the backside of the designer paper when the case is open!
The package for one of my gifts was made by Advisory Board sister, Sharon Armstrong. She used the Bohemian Designer Series Paper and the new Gift Bag Punch Board! Talk about adorable! You can bet this little gift bag will be recycled!
Here's a helpful video to show how you can create your own gift bags!
Jodi Reinert decorated this beautiful frame with gold spray paint, Stampin' Up! Gold Sequin Trim. She stamped the flower from the You've Got This stamp set and embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. The yummy ribbon is one of the new Mint Macaron In Color Dotted Lace Trim.
One more gift idea for today! This personalized luggage tag was made by Janet Wakeland. I love all the glitz and glimmer she used . . . Silver Glimmer Paper and the Metallic Foil Doilies. It was fun to have this tag to differentiate my convention bag from everyone else's!
