So Much Inspiration. . . Plus a Holiday Photo Card Idea!

I want to share some great creative ideas with you, but first I would like to share much of the how and why I stay inspired!  (I firmly believe you must first be inspired before you can turn around and inspire others.)  Having just returned from a great trip to Utah for the Founder's Circle Retreat (top 100 US demonstrators and top 20 Canadian), I am overwhelmed with inspiration. . . overwhelmed in the best way possible!  What I was able and blessed to experience was absolutley amazing!  I can't express that enough!

Sure, I was privileged to see some new and exciting products coming and tons of creativity. . . of course I would, considering the company I was keeping!  While the fun and thrills that were planned for us were spectacular and I enjoyed every one of them thoroughly, what has remained with me and will continue to inspire me for a long time was and is the blessing of the relationships with so many women of integrity and substance.  During our one business event (yes, only one), three of those amazing women were selected to speak about their personal business experience of finding balance.  They each challenged us by beautifully sharing their journeys to find balance in their business and placing what is most important in its rightful place. (It's so easy as women to get those things out of sync!)  And it doesn't end there!  God so beautifully orchestrated the timing of a Bible Study that many of us in this group of leaders have chosen to participate in and of all things. . . we're doing it through Facebook since we live in all parts of the US and Canada!  And again, no coincidence, the book was chosen before we attended the retreat. . . it's called No Other Gods, by Kelly Minter.  Hmmmm. . . so Who is tying to get our attention and and be at the top of the priority list?  Just sayin'  Again, I'm so grateful that my experience with Stampin' Up! isn't only about stamps, but about things that will outlast my stamp collection!

Okay. . . I had to go get a Kleenix before I could continue to post something that I've been waiting to share with you. . . my Founder's swap and Christmas card!

Founders swap

Tah dah!  But I have to show you the inside. . .

Founder swap open half

. . . because it's a flip card and there's a surprise inside!  My awesome guys!

Founder swap open full

I love the new thinlits!  It has taken card making to a whole new level for me. . . especially since I like to do them fast and quick!  The thinlit allows me to make this flip card in one roll through the Big Shot!  (Of course, I had to go one more time to do the embossing!)

What do you think?  I love combining my love to send a handmade card combined with a photo!

  1. Oh Georgia – your card is amazing and your story is touching. If I was able to only provide one reason of how Stampin’ Up! has affected my life, it would be the relationships. Without Stampin’ Up!, it is possible that I would not have met you. Thank you for sharing the highlights of founder’s circle with us. You are an inspiration in so many ways. Looking forward to a fun weekend of stamping with you!
