Use your Labels Collection Framelits in a new way!

Don't you just love finding a new way to use a tool that you already own?  I do!  I received a card in a swap (from Susan Campfield) earlier this spring and just had to make one of my own!  I didn't have directions, but after inspecting the card closely, and yes, even taking it apart a little (Don't worry. . . I put it back together!), I was able to recreate it with a few twists of my own!

Secret Garden Fun Fold

Those that attended my Big Shot Class in June learned how to make this card!  The card actually stands up when you set it on a flat surface!

  1. The largest label framelit is used to cut the card front.  (Use a piece of cardstock that is 4" x 5 1/2".)
  2. Center the framelit over the cardstock so that the top and bottom points will be omitted when you cut it out.
  3. Emboss as desired, then cut in half vertically.
  4. Use a 3 1/2" x 7" piece of cardstock to create the folding part of the card.
  5. Score at 3/8" and 1 3/4" from both of the short ends.  Fold in on all score lines.
  6. Use Sticky Strip on the 3/8" flaps to attach the 2 halves of the card front.  (Your card inside will be shorter than the front.)
  7. Finish your card as you wish!

When you pull the two halves apart, your card will stand!
